IT Infrastructure Engineer - 100% - Perm/CDI - Lausanne

Responsibilities :

Network infrastructure (wired and wireless) core specialization :

  • Implement, administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco routers and switches
  • Maintain, revise and upgrade Client’s network infrastructure to ensure its reliable and flawless operation, outstanding performance and uptime
  • Manage wireless and network access control technology (Cisco, Aruba ClearPass)
  • Oversee Unified Communication (Cisco Call Manager)
  • Implement and manage VOIP infrastructure (SIP) through Microsoft Teams

Cloud, on premise, hybrid solutions and services core specialization :

  • Architect, design, and implement cloud-based, on premise and hybrid solutions (M365, OneLogin, Azure AD, ServiceNow)
  • Implement and support solutions that focus on overall health, performance, operations, security, and automation
  • Utilize the latest Azure / M365 / ServiceNow services and other cloud-based technologies to increase process efficiency and improve customer experience (internal and external)
  • Manage Windows server based infrastructure and virtualization (SQL servers, VMware)
  • Configure and operate single-sign-on solutions to cloud services
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell scripts and/or other tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical requirements into solutions or new product offerings for the cloud environment

Activities applicable to both core specializations :

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex IT issues; lead and interface with external partners to resolve technical problems when necessary
  • Part-take in an on-call service, intervene, troubleshoot and restore operations
  • Provide second/third level support in collaboration with the IT/AV Support Team
  • Update and/or add to our technical documentation

Profile :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Vendor expert certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, MCSA or MCSE, ServiceNow CSA, CIS, CAD
  • Minimum 5 years in pertinent IT roles
  • Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, team-oriented, responsible, focused on customer service and exceeding customer expectations
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical and problem solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot emerging issues
  • Proven time management skills, delivers against deadlines
  • Appropriate level of business acumen enabling constructive interactions with non-IT stakeholders
  • Curious, strong self-starter who takes care of continuous self-development
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficient in English, French is a plus
