We are seeking technology and domain leaders to join our development team within Firmwide Risk IT. We are looking someone to:

  • develop secured data connections to diverse data sources (on-premises databases, Azure Data Lake or other storages, Azure Databases) in Data Science platform to enable data scientist to have access to data in different environments.
  • work with methodology business stockholders to ensure the data services meets the business requirements and future capacity projection
  • innovate and contributes to Development, DevOps processes and setup the optimal data science model data sources including Azure Data Factory pipelines to migrate data, APIs / services in Python to data load monitoring process, Gitlab / Azure DevOps deployment pipelines to support deployments in different environments.
  • to be a product champion on Microsoft Azure products such as Azure SQL, Azure PostgreSQL databases, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Functions and application to data science.
  • have good understanding of data science model development and machine learning model fundamentals, able to interact with UBS risk methodology to understand their business problems.
Description du profil

  • at a minimum, have a degree level qualification.
  • strong experience in SQL & Databases, Python programming.
  • have 10+ years of software development experience; major part of which is in data modeling, database design and development (SQL, PL-SQL, T-SQL), data migration, server-side cloud native using Python.
  • experience in developing and deploying Azure Data Factory pipelines, data migration from oracle to Azure cloud databases - Azure SQL / PostgreSQL Databases
  • experience in Azure Functions, Azure Data Lake Gen 2 storage & Azure Event Hubs
  • experience with JupyterLab setup and customization, Azure Kubernetes, UBS authorization frameworks would be a plus.
  • SDLC tools with GitLab and CICD Pipeline, Microsoft Azure Cloud DevOps experience
  • knowledge of R, SAS programming, data science and machine learning experience would be advantageous, but not mandatory. Have excellent understanding of Object-Oriented programming and Functional programming paradigm.
