Your role

Do you have a knack for technology? Are you at your best when supporting others? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • analyze and manage incidents and problems on the IT service as Client Advisor Workbench, Travelling Solution, Document Basket, UBS ‘Keyclub’
  • support the service across several technical domains both on a business as well as a technical level
  • uphold high standards for timely issue resolution focusing on clients and user’s needs
  • define workarounds for known errors and initiate long term improvements
  • communicate with Operations, L1, L2, L3 and other stakeholders
  • maintain Knowledge Database to provide on request in a structured way the needed information
  • intense production verification and testing of our applications
  • willingness to work on weekends on occasion due to planned releases

Your team

You will be working in the team ‘Touchpoints’ in Zürich at Flurstrasse. Our team is part of the Technology Operations Center – Business Application Support Group and is responsible for second level IT support regarding Request Management, Incident Management and Problem Management

Your expertise

  • strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out),
  • familiar with ITIL processes
  • experience in application support
  • general banking knowhow regarding client, client advisor facing solutions.
  • hands on IT experience on UNIX/ LINUX system administration
  • a dedication to get in touch with IT technology (servers, databases, files)
  • fluent in English and German
  • understanding client needs and translating to technical applications
