We are looking for a IT System Engineer

Your role

Are you a problem solver seeking challenges to transform a landscape and deliver real results and achieve true business impact and drive efficiencies in a front to back process and work with evolving platforms and new technologies ?

We’re looking for an IT System Engineer to:
  • Bring a technology driven approach to resolving issues and driving improvement through the use of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices,
  • Bring a change driven mindset who wants to challenge established processes and protocols seeking true change by leveraging DevOps skills and practices
  • Wants to understand business process front to back and identify opportunities for improvement and the deliver on them through the usage of AiOps and data science principles
  • Achieve seamless transaction processing in a varied technology landscape
  • Wants to ensure that future processes are robust and efficient and be a key part of technology change

Qualifikation

Your expertise

As a technical role, you will need to have a breadth of basic skills, you don’t need to be a superstar in all of these, but should know some of the basics and essentials
  • Problem solving - this can be from any technology and platform – what is your approach, what can you bring and how can you change the future

There are desirable skills which touch on the other aspects we use on a day to day basis and then how we grow moving forward whereby you may have some, none or all of these
  • Autosys
  • Splunk
  • AppDynamics
  • Moogsoft
  • Azure Batch
  • Azure Monitor
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • Helm

Then, we have specific vendor applications that require specialist knowledge, these are not a must, if you are able to demonstrate a problem solving mindset and skills from other areas, these can always be taught:
  • Murex exchange flow and static data management
  • Markitwire trade lifecycle, particularly for bilateral clearing flow

Lastly, the type of certifications you might have. These can be varied, but you might have some of the following, and don’t worry if you don’t, we provide great learning and progression opportunities to get access to these, develop your skills and get industry recognized qualifications:
