Are you fond of technology that is rock-solid? Is buggy software driving you crazy? We’re looking for someone like this to:
  • work within a global team of analysts, engineers and business stakeholders
  • review and analyze software requirements/specifications
  • design, develop and execute test cases (functional and non-functional) to ensure the software meets requirements
  • define and setup test data
  • maintenance of regression test suites and define innovative ideas on how to improve them
  • identify, report and retest defects, and work with the development team to assist defect resolution
  • comply with the UBS test strategies, testing standards / procedures and test plans
  • develop new ways of increasing the quality of our applications
  • increase and document own knowledge and share it with peers
Your team will be the guardians of quality: you will be playing a major role in go-live decisions

Description du profil

  • a graduate degree as well as software testing credentials (like ISTQB certification etc.)
  • worked in a similar position for several years and ensured the quality of the built IT products
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
  • a solid understanding of test automation (e.g. Java/Selenium)
  • a great interest in shaping the future of banking, with new touch points and all things around an excellent user experience
  • an understanding of what it takes to roll out stable IT solutions in financial services
  • strong knowledge of test analysis, test design and test execution techniques
  • strong understanding of software principles, software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
  • experience in a global software environment where no two days are the same
  • hands-on competence JIRA, Xray, Confluence and MS Office tools
  • you are a strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels in both, English and German
  • an expert at building networks and connections even further
  • structured and have pragmatic attitude where quality is first
  • comfortable working in an environment with fast paced deliveries
  • able to embrace complex business requirements and enjoy the shared challenge of implementing them
  • excellent at time management
  • delivery focused, hands-on, a strong leader and a good team
