Job Description:

Your Mission :
The Supply Network Operations (SNO) organisation orchestrates our products’ end-to-end activities along their value chains and is the catalyst for establishing a customer-centric, seamless product flow that provides our patients and customers with the highest possible level of service. SNO contains all key supply chain operating processes, our product value stream group and the regional SNO teams.

The SNO Process Excellence Director is responsible for the strategic operating systems and processes led by SNO, working in close collaboration with multiple partners. The scope of this role covers: Global Executive S&OP, Global demand Planning, Long Range Planning, Network capacity management, Material Management Strategy, SNO Performance and E2E Planning Design. This position will demonstrate expertise and leadership in business and technical design, delivery, with functional capability of the Demand/Supply planning systems and processes.

The position will work extensively with the Global Commercial Leadership, Franchise Leadership, Finance, Manufacturing Organizations, Value Stream Teams, Global Procurement, Regional SNO Leadership and other functional Supply Chain teams to develop a viable, executable global demand plan. This role is the primary process owner of the Executive S&OP including the responsibility to drive continuous improvement in the maturity of the process, architects & leads change management and adaption of all improvements across the global organization, along with the administration of process and data integrity.

Your responsibilities:

  • Global Executive S&OP Process - Design, develop and implement the Global S&OP process, yielding improved value/experience for customers and enhanced business results and communication.
  • SNO Lead for Long Range business planning working in close collaboration with the business to define and execute the annual cycle
  • Implement Global demand planning capability for the business including reasonability assessment, risk and opportunities and adoption of statistical forecasting. Own Forecast Performance KPIs and drive appropriate measures to improve E2E forecast accuracy.
  • Own overall Kinaxis/Planning Tools roadmap (Kinaxis, KPI, Dashboards, Demand Planning/Inv planning tools, etc.)
  • Develop the vision of future E2E planning across multiple disciplines, including S&OP, Demand Management, Inventory Planning, Capacity Planning, Logistics Planning, and Network Planning
  • Responsibility for SNO Global Performance including KPI definition, tracking, analysis and improvement through the identification of best practices and fostering reapplication.
  • Own the process standards: flows, KPIs, and roles & responsibilities
  • A critical member of the SNO Leadership team, responsible for ensuring the key operating systems are continuous evolving to meet the business needs and the strategic objectives of the SNO organisation
  • Design and implement the required organisation structure to support the strategic SNO objectives.
  • Lead the SNO Excellence team with responsibility for organisation engagement, performance management and development. This role has responsibility for a team of X employees
  • SNO Lead for the the Supply Chain technology initiatives


Required experience & competencies:

  • Master degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Industrial management, Supply chain, finance or a related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, demand and/or Operations - Pharmaceutical Industry or other, complex, highly regulated industry, relevant experience preferred.
  • Expertise across supply chain planning disciplines (demand, inventory, capacity), and well versed across supply chain management principles - Ideally APICS CSCP qualified.
  • A change agent with experience of driving transformation across systems, processes and organisations.
  • An organisational developer- passionate about building capability within the organisation.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple workstreams with the discipline to reprioritize and pivot where necessary
  • Ability to engage and influence senior leadership stakeholders
  • Self-starter, results-oriented, effective leader with experience working in a cross-functional and cross- cultural environment.
  • Detailed knowledge and exposure to Forecasting, Sales & Operational Planning systems and Tools, Enterprise Planning Systems and Material Requirement Planning (Oracle, SAP 4HANNA and KINAXIS preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills: fluent in English and 2nd language is an advantage.
