Primary Function of Position:

Increase visibility on our core value messaging and foster Intuitive relationships with a focus on Care Teams by providing value-based messages on da Vinci surgery in the current healthcare environment. This individual will also be responsible for marketing programs specifically focused on building robust da Vinci Fellowship & Residency training programs in top Academic institutions and health-systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement key programs, materials, and support of our marketing and sales teams to drive procedure adoption of da Vinci Surgery among customers

  • Strategic planning and marketing of Care Teams Educational Programs: Support business objectives, prepare ideas and budgets for Care Teams programs
  • Ensure execution of the Care Team Education strategy: Support the plan, develop and execute integrated campaigns and promotions to improve awareness on Intuitive value-based offering
  • Collaborate with Brand and creative teams to drive visibility to Care teams on Intuitive website
  • Manage, measure and optimize the effectiveness of all integrated marketing campaigns, working closely with local teams to monitor and ensure the quality of program deliverables
  • Collect and analyze data to identify and isolate issues, test solutions and prioritize competing program opportunities
  • Responsible for assisting in the Care team KOL development at a European level to deliver our Ecosystem value

Design probing surveys to address and analyze with customers where Ecosystem played a role in the Operating Room to create references selling tools, develop messaging and proof points, best practice content development in collaboration with Manager

Establish strong partnership and relationships with cross-functional teams (country marketing, sales and Program Mgr. Customer Training and other internal ecosystem partners (Genesis, SRS…) to define messaging, objectives and goals

Plan field visits to better understand surgeon and hospital needs as they expand their da Vinci programs efficiency

Support creation of residency and fellowship training plans/programs for academic accounts with customer training program managers that drive results

  • Drive adoption of curricula across top academic prioritized sites
  • Create turn-key programs which can be easily understood and implemented by academic institutions regardless of surgical specialty or country

Launch customer-facing reference stories detailing curriculum and programmatic best practices

Work with academic operating room staff, teams and individuals to create a comprehensive training curriculum and implementation plan

Work cross-functionally with the clinical & product education team to develop effective training content

Coordinate with customer training & Genesis teams to ensure training support is properly allocated to meet academic specialized training program needs

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in a medical device company in either Sales, Training and/or Marketing
  • B.A. / B.S. Degree in Clinical or Health Sciences, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Communications, Education
  • Proven ability to work as a team member to achieve production goals
  • Able to prioritize and smoothly manage multiple tasks.
  • Creative problem solving and an ability to articulate a vision for a program
  • Cross-functional leadership skills are required; the ability to influence non-direct reports to achieve program and project goals
  • Demonstrated ability to work creatively amidst competing priorities to deliver high-impact marketing programs on-time and within budget to support overall marketing strategy and business objectives.
  • Passionate about attention to detail and quality
  • Demonstrated ability to work with KOLs in a program development or teaching capacity
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical disease states, surgical applications and operating room environment
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles preferred
  • Superior verbal/written communication, teamwork, presentation and interpersonal skills to work across multiple constituents.
  • Ability to travel 50%. International travel required
  • Fluent in English, with either French or German preferred
