Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

Based in Aubonne (Switzerland) and part of the HR Operations team, the HR Compliance Analyst ensures that all compliance-related legal and regulatory requirements are addressed in HR Operations in EMEA (17 countries). He/She will provide expertise and specialized decisioning support to the HRLT team of the EMEA region. The HR Analyst acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting HR compliance remediation initiatives and transverse projects. This role will propose, design and implement HR policies and HR compliance remediation initiatives. This individual will partner with the local HR representatives, HRBP’s, Regional Personal Data Protection (PDP) representative, EHS manager and Legal team to mitigate compliance risk.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Legal monitoring of changes in HR regulations and proactively inform the team on changes having an impact on HR compliance
  • Develop templates and adapt procedures when new legal practices are identified
  • Leverage subject matter expertise to develop and implement HR compliance remediation initiatives
  • Review or create European policies using good judgement in trying to harmonize whilst respecting the country specificities
  • Support European transverse projects from a compliance perspective to ensure Intuitive is following the country regulations and legal requirements
  • Partner with the local HRBP’s, HROPS team, EMEA CoEs (TA, TR), EHS, legal team to ensure smooth implementation of new processes or policies
  • Confirm or improve organizational practices related to risk and compliance with legal counsels
  • Support HR Reps and HR BPs on moderate to complex HR compliance cases
  • Design and host HR compliance training of various stakeholders on legal changes impacting HR Compliance (HR Ops, HRBP, CoE, Payroll)
  • Own the EMEA knowledge base: maintain, update, prompt contributions of Subject Matter Experts
  • Management of mandates with external legal consultants (scope, relationship management)
Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Master’s degree in law with good knowledge of employment law in either Switzerland, France, Germany, the UK, or one Nordic Country; knowledge of one other European country’s employment law a plus
  • 3/5 years of experience in a similar role in an international, fast growing and matrixed environment with a university degree
  • First experience in an HR team or in the employment department of a law firm, in an international environment
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, interpersonal)
  • Ability to prioritize and seamlessly manage a high volume of activities and requests from multiple sources in a time sensitive environment
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven success in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment
  • Self Starter; excellent team player
  • Fluent in English and French, knowledge of German would be a plus
  • Solid computer skills
