The incumbent supports the Line Manager in the promotion of the product portfolio relevant to the particular therapeutic area. Is responsible for managing the administration for congresses, financial tasks, tracking and coordination of registrations for orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support to the marketing team (FLSL, Sales Reps, Brand Manager or equivalent) for activities such as invoicing, contracting, project requests, meetings and conferences)

  • Operational support of the vaccines therapy area (including sales, marketing, medical governance, purchase orders, medical clearing system (Veeva), events and promotions)

  • Overall support of material development in the therapeutic area with focus on digital and print: creation of promotional / non-promotional and scientifically sound materials, leading those materials through medical review & approval to expiration

  • Support of management monitoring, self-monitoring and audits

  • Support management in the annual, local risk assessment

  • Provide coverage during absences/holidays

  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with staff across a range of departments

  • Active and continuous improvement of internal efficiency and external effectiveness

Additional tasks include:

  • Management of the project "Transparency" in Switzerland (publication of payments to medical professionals and healthcare organisations)

  • Training of new employees in the specialist roles (GID and TOV Admin)

Requirements:

  • First work experience in the industrial sector (ideally in the pharmaceutical, OTC, or FMCG sector) desirable

  • Very good knowledge of English and of German and/or French

  • Ability to deliver on the analytical requirements of the position

  • Ability to organise and plan, hands-on mentality

  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working

  • Thinking along with others, thinking outside the box, pro-actively pushing things forward
