Job Title: National Sales Manager - Facial - Alpine (m/w/d)

Reports to: Sales Director Allergan Aesthetics, Alpine

Job Summary

The National Sales Manager (NSM) leads the execution of Allergan Aesthetics’ Facial strategy in the sales territories of Switzerland and Austria. The National Sales Managers and its team is responsible for growing the assigned territory by supporting development of recently-acquired customers, up selling in existing mid-sized customers and executing the marketing strategy in territory. There is a high accountability for achieving the territory financial sales targets and objectives. In this capacity, the NSM is responsible for managing the Facial Product Specialists team performance and development.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

People Management
  • Manages the day-to-day people management processes and accompanies the team throughout the key HR processes (goal setting, talent management, performance evaluation)
  • Oversees and coordinates the field force product knowledge and skills development
  • Accountable for PS compliance to the relevant Business Excellence processes and of delivery against commercial KPIs expectations
  • Coaching on selling skills and driving improvement of the team’s sales techniques
  • Overseeing product and clinical evidence expertise of the PS team


Team Development
  • Help the Product Specialists grow commercial acumen enabling a sales approach focused on the success of Allergan Aesthetics Facial customers
  • Promote and coach on strategic thinking to help the team win in all relevant customer segments of the medical aesthetics market
  • Drive a high-performance culture, which translates in consistent achievement of financial targets and on SFE KPIs
  • Provide direction and in field coaching support


Sales Management
  • Deliver on the sales objectives on a quarterly basis
  • Develop strong customer relationships and act as sponsor and point of escalation where required
  • Apply correct commercial policies into the Swiss and Austrian markets
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to Allergan’s code of conduct
  • Promotes a collaborative culture within the sales team by enabling effective collaboration with Allergan Aesthetics’ functions

Qualifications

Experience/Knowledge:

Education and Experience
  • This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in leading in-field sales teams in Medical Aesthetics, Pharma or Medical Devices
  • Able to demonstrate success in meeting and exceeding sales targets through the direction and motivation of others
  • Able to engage and influence stakeholders to ensure the best cross-functional thinking and results

  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • People Management and coaching capability
  • Understanding of how to manage complex diverse teams, with diverse customer base
