PXL Vision is looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our team in Zürich. Your primary goal is to ensure and define the development and definitions of PXL Products.

This role will report directly to the Chief Product Officer.

The ideal candidate is experienced in building up software products, has both a technical and business oriented mind set and is ideally familiar with the digital identity industry. In this role he/she would be required to support the product team in defining, designing and refining PXL Products, having a customer oriented view, and understanding the market. You should be able to identify user needs, help a customer understand a business value and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases

He/ she needs to analyse and define the business requirements of the products, coordinate with sales/UX/development teams in order to define the best requirements and product specifications, and ensure that the product roadmap is delivered on time.

Tasks
  • Define the Product specifications and requirements, from a high level to the development and delivery of the product
  • Gather feature requests, schedule releases, define the user stories and epics and coordinate the sprints.
  • Communicate with customers
  • Own the product roadmap
  • Define scope and prioritize backlog items and coordinate the development with the involved stakeholders (UX, Dev, QA)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product and take ownership of this process
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product
  • Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams
  • Work closely with product management and senior management in order to create a product that fits the company portfolio
  • Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
  • Follow our competitors and the industry and suggest action items that ensure the competitiveness of the product
  • Have a pragmatic, agile approach, apply Lean Startup practices, measure/learn/take appropriate decisions


Requirements
  • Business development or technical university degree or equivalent, ideally with a background in IT software development
  • 5+ years experience in Product Development and/or Product Management
  • Ability to maintain and enhance a professional relationship with customers
  • Good communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Self organized, solution driven, takes full ownership of the product and driving the development forward
  • Open minded, curious, collaborates with all team members and supports the team when required
  • Experience with a definition of minimum marketable features and minimum viable products
  • Knows how to define the product roadmap
  • Overall understanding of technologies used in the product
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
