Joining Intuitive Surgical means joining a team dedicated to using technology to benefit patients by improving surgical efficacy and decreasing surgical invasiveness, with patient safety as our highest priority.

Primary Function Of Position

The Service Contract Specialist will perform a full spectrum of contracts administration tasks including negotiation of service contract renewals. Ensure all customer needs and requirements are attended to for all service contract related business.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating service contract addendums and documentation associated with renewals and offerings
  • Analyze contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government regulations, and revenue recognition requirements
  • Enter and maintain service contracts for released products in the SAP Database
  • Process service contract billings for customers and distributors
  • Generate and distribute reports for the purpose of monitoring and measuring service contract status and revenue
  • Assist Finance and Field Service on service contract collections
  • Support Field Service in the daily service contract activities
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Experience
  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in a medical device company
  • 2+ years prior experience in negotiating contracts or inside sales
  • Knowledge of standard legal terms and conditions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in German required and fluency in French is preferred
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to function in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Solid SAP skills and a general knowledge of its reporting functions
  • Proactive and ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
