Project Description

Information and Document Systems is a global technology change and delivery organization comprising nearly 150 individuals located in Switzerland, Poland, Singapore, United Kingdom and United States. We provide archiving and retrieval solutions to all business divisions focusing on supporting Legal, Regulatory and Operational functions. It has a complex architecture based on Unix, Oracle, IBM CMOD (Content Manager OnDemand), IBM TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager), NetApp SnapLock and IBM WebSphere. The solution has 7 key components hosted on Unix and WebSphere, integrated with TSM, CMOD and SnapLock and using Oracle for storing meta data as a staging area.

Responsibilities
    Development and Improving application infrastructure, interacting with developers and production support, configuring and improving existing infrastructure, simplifying release process, investigations, research, activities related to programming and coding, taking part in planning and risk assessment, active participation in distributed agile process.
Skills

Must have
  • Deep knowledge of and at least 5 - 7 years of experience in Systems Engineering or Software application development
  • Solaris and Linux environment system engineering incl. packaging and configuration
  • Version control / continuous integration: GitLab, GitLab Pipelines, Ansible, Rexx
  • Perl and/or Python, Shell Scripting
  • Oracle SQL, PL/SQL procedures
  • SAN/NAS, other storage sub-systems (e.g. TSM)
  • Sound knowledge of IT Security (authentication, authorization, cryptography, certificate management, ...)
  • Experience with data management and data migration (file / storage, database)
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle
  • Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus)
