Your field of responsibility

The IWM Payment Office is a highly visible, dynamic area where you can be an integral part of the decision-making that supports the front to back IWM Payments business. You will be part of a small team that is renowned for its dynamic and engaged culture.
You will hold an important role in a high profile function in IWM COO. The IWM Payments Office is responsible for the end to end management of payments, including, compliance with policy and im-provement and transformation of front to back processes across the payments value chain, as well as implementation of divisional payments strategy.

This role is visible to senior leaders across the organization, and spans interaction with our client facing employees in Switzerland and our International Booking Platforms. It is a high profile role cov-ering front to back areas of the bank liaising with stakeholders globally.

Areas we focus on are Defining and implementing strategy for the future of Payments within IWM. We focus on improvement of the client digital payment journey equipping our Ultra High Net Worth clients and family offices with the right tools and platforms to ensure adequate real time management of their payments. Enhancement of systematic controls through machine learning and new technol-ogy in order to better control our payment risks. Monitoring compliance with payments processes and payment policy. We provide incident deep dives and thematic risk reviews. Ensure adequate testing of compliance with key payment controls. We are the subject matter expects on payments and provide support to IWM colleagues globally front to back. We support a number of highly visible payment programs such as a highly visible multiyear payments programme designed to implement consistent bank wide processes and controls. The successful candidate will become one of the IWM representatives of the program facing off to multiple global stakeholders up to N-3 level.

Your future colleagues
We are a small Zurich based team that sit within the wider area of the IWM COO Front Support and Operational Management. There is a wide remit of work, in scope, complexity, and interaction with stakeholders in multiple locations, with this role there is the opportunity to interact with senior lead-ers across the front facing IWM business, regional management, international booking platforms, in Americas, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East and control & risk functions on a regular basis. Your skills and experience

We are looking for a reliable self-starter with a preference for someone with working knowledge of payments, this is preferred but not essential. The main requirements are

  • Previous exposure to payment related topics is desirable
  • An understanding of the IWM business, is advantageous
  • Experience in a risk or control function with an understanding of audit/risk or compliance processes is an advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to coordinate across teams.
  • Results-oriented, hardworking individual who has the ability to work autonomously under re-mote supervision.
  • Understanding or previous working experience with our International Booking platforms is advantageous.
  • You will drive change with resilience and adaptability - The ability to navigate a way forward through uncertainty and ambiguity with a positive mind-set, embracing change.
  • You will be able to Influence and present information – Effective communication and presen-tation skills with the ability to present complex information in an understandable, relevant and engaging way.
  • You will be results oriented, hardworking and can work on own initiative whilst also working under pressure to deliver on time, combined with an outstanding interpersonal skillset
