Our Opening and Your Responsibilities


The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team is responsible for the IT design and the implementation of new or changed end-to-end PLM processes at METTLER TOLEDO. In order to strengthen our functional area, we are looking for an Business Analyst PLM.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
  • You will conduct detailed interrogation of customer needs and translate them into functional / non-functional requirements to improve the productivity of the business with regards to PLM
  • In collaboration with the Solution Architect, or independently, you will analyze business requirements and translate them into functional requirements for PLM applications
  • Ensure that the solutions delivered across the whole PLM Solutions Team are aligned with the defined policies and guidelines is also one of your task as supporting the definition of template processes & solutions and the end-to-end delivery process
  • You will create and maintain user manuals and process documentation and execute user trainings for new functionalities and refresh trainings
  • Furthermore you will collaborate closely with Solution Architects and Product Owners and support projects delivery during the various phases of implementation, testing and delivery to production
What You Need to Succeed
  • You have a Master or bachelor degree in engineering or natural science with a couple of years of relevant work experience related to PLM
  • Good knowledge of PLM applications (Siemens Teamcenter is plus), low code development applications (Mendix is a plus), ALM applications (Polarion is a plus) and Continous Delivery supporting tools (e.g. Jenkins, GIT)
  • Furthermore you have good knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies
  • You have an independent, accurate way of working and understanding of complex processes and interdependencies combined with high problem solving ability
  • You are a team player with good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Travel requirements up to 20%
