ROLE DESCRIPTION

Capco is looking for Consultants/Senior Consultants. Working across a range of clients you will help them deliver new Payments strategies and improve business models in the rapidly evolving environment of Open Banking, PSD2 and Payments using ISO20022 standards.

You will assist and advise clients to help ensure that they are positioned to deliver their business goals.

• Joining our payments team in building payment propositions for our clients
• Developing a comprehensive understanding of the client’s strategic needs, envision what’s coming and progress of what’s ahead
• Delivery of projects for our clients relating to payments. This includes projects relating to new payment standards migration e.g., MT to MX, regulatory change and transformation
• Implementing innovative payment solutions and packages and integrating with client’s ecosystem
• Creating high quality deliverables such as requirements, process maps, test strategies and effectively coordinate with various stakeholders

SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

• Good knowledge on various Payment and Reporting messages like ISO20022, ISO8583, SWIFT MT1XX, 2XX and 9XX etc.
• Work experience with end-to-end implementation of an IT solution in the Functional areas like SWIFT Processing, Clearing systems (e.g. RTGS – BAHTNET/GIRO3/CHAPS /FED/NACHA etc.), Reconciliation and Investigations
• Strong in-depth knowledge of end-to-end core account based payment value chain for any of the payment types (i.e. High Value, Low Value, Cross Border and Immediate Payments)
• Expertise in ISO 20022 including operational and technology impacts of the transition
• Front to back knowledge of the payments ecosystem
• Understanding of Straight-thru processing (STP) and operational efficiency
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English, French and/or German)
