Job Description


We are currently looking for a 12-months FTC to join our Finance team.

The Rx GBU Business Controller is responsible (70%) for sales & profitability controlling of the Prescription business (worldwide) as well as spends specific to the Rx GBU (Headquarter). Under the supervision of the Rx GBU Finance Lead, the Rx GBU Business Controller consolidates and analyses the Rx business performance (worldwide) and acts as a Business Partner of Rx GBU budget owners ensuring proper allocation of resources (headquarter). She/he also support (30%) on ad-hoc basis the Consumer GBU Finance Lead on various analysis / projects.


Job Responsibilities
  • Rx (Prescription) GBU costs (Headquarter):
  • Coordinate, prepare and submit the budget (yearly) & forecasts (monthly) for Rx GBU costs (Headquarter)
  • Control marketing, market access, digital & employee’s costs to ensure right allocation of resources, a good level of efficiency (ROI analysis) and a full compliance with internal procedures & external regulations
  • Coordinate the period end closing (Purchase orders, accruals, intercommitments, reclassifications) and perform variance analysis versus budget and forecasts
  • Provide reports / dashboards to budget owners and management
  • Rx (Prescription) Business Performance (worldwide):
  • Perform and provide sales analysis on key brands & markets (volume, pricing, mix) of budget, forecasts and actuals
  • Perform and provide profitability analysis (COGS evolution, marketing spends allocation & ROI and R&D investments) of budget, forecasts and actuals
  • Coordinate, review and challenge global and local launch plan / business case
  • Follow market and competition evolution in connection with market insights team
  • Support to Cx (consumer) GBU
  • Ad-hoc analysis / projects

Minimum Requirements
  • University/Business School degree in Finance/Administration and/or other related fields
  • Proficiency in English/ Good knowledge of French
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an international environment in Controlling/Audit preferably in the Pharma industry
  • Good knowledge of Financial Reporting systems (Essbase, SAP, BW)
  • Accounting/IFRS knowledge exposure
