Position Summary

As a Consumer & Market Insights Analytics & Predictive Modelling Lead, you will drive advanced analytics in the Coffee Category for the EMENA region by leveraging big data, AI, and predictive modelling.

The successful candidate will lead the development of this capability, ensuring that all data assets are leveraged to solve critical business problems and deliver competitive advantage, equipping the Coffee category in EMENA with optimal information to make evidence based decisions in Generating Demand.

A day in the life of a Consumer & Market Insights Analytics & Predictive Modelling Lead Coffee
  • Building one source of truth, successfully integrating several datasets: Sales, Market Shares, Household Panel data, Marketing Investments, Digital metrics etc.
  • Contributing to build Advanced Analytics capabilities for Coffee and promoting a measurement culture throughout the organization.
  • Helping articulate key use cases for the Coffee Category and developing the relevant methodology to address them, leveraging AI/Predictive Modelling.
  • Transforming current data & analysis into connected data sets that yield predictive insights in various areas of the business (Demand Planning, Marketing Investment Optimization, Marketing Investment budget allocations, Marketing Mix Optimization, Trade Promotions Optimization).
  • Communicates effectively throughout the business, explaining complex concepts and processes in an easy and visual way for the teams to fully harness the insights.

What Will Make You Successful
  • 8-10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Governance or Artificial Intelligence preferably gained within FMCG industry, supporting Marketing & Sales functions.
  • Background in one of the following fields: Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Social Sciences.
  • Structural thinking, highly developed analytical skills, ability to work with a large amount of data, analyze relationships and interpret numbers.
  • Experience in integrating data from different sources to have the best possible view of the category and predict trends.
  • Interested in building new tools & systems to improve quality of our analysis and data visualization, digitally savvy.
  • Curious about FMCG dynamics, channels/retail environment, media landscape, marketing investment (including Digital).
  • Fluent in English, any other European language would be an asset.
