The purpose of this role is to reinforce our Data Science team and enable us to develop, implement and industrialize data projects on our cloud platform (Google Cloud). You will be in charge of identifying the proper resources and services to be used for a given project, crafting the most adapted architecture and deploying the project as planned and in line with Group governance and security guidelines,

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

In collaboration with our data scientists and other major stakeholders, and under the supervision of the Data Engineer Lead, you will build data and machine learning pipelines on our cloud platform and will contribute to bring our data projects from experiments to production-level tools.

You will be a trusted liaison between Cartier and Richemont Group Technology teams.

You will promote an “automate everything” approach and you will apply agile methodologies and engineering best practices to ensure consistent and transparent execution (test automation, documentation, code review etc.). You will also help to set up the “Ops” culture at Cartier with GitOps, DataOps, MLOps, etc.

You will actively participate to Conferences and Summits in relation to cloud providers technologies and provide guidance and feedback in terms of technologies available in the market.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

You have 1 to 3 years of experience with data engineering in an international context.

You are familiar and have a good knowledge of the following fields and their associated tools:
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS / GCP / Azure
  • ETL & Data pipelines: SQL, NoSQL
  • Virtualization and containers: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Programming: shell scripting, Python, Javascript
  • DevOps: Ansible, Terraform
  • MLOps: Kubeflow / Airflow / MLFlow
You have a good understanding of Agile/DevOps operating model with experience and passion to work in a fast-paced agile environment, delivering new features quickly and using automation when possible.
