Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for English Language Teachers to provide in-person customized lessons to our clients in La Tour-de-Peilz, Switzerland.

Job Information:

  • Class number: 149385
  • Student: 1 child, 10 years old
  • Target language: English
  • Current English level: Beginner, understands a little
  • Native and other spoken languages: Italian - native, French - fluent, a bit of German
  • Availability: TBD
  • Preferred start date: ASAP
  • Lesson frequency: Three times per week
  • Lesson length: 45 minutes per session
  • Student’s language needs and goals: Will attend English/French bilingual school. Focus on reading and pronunciation.
  • Additional information: Likes reading mangas, enjoys watching anime, plays football.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
  • Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
  • Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
  • Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

  • Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
  • Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience
