Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

This business unit is our logistics hub in Europe and provides logistical services for METTLER TOLEDO in the worldwide service business and in the import and export of products.

To strengthen the Logistic Shared Service Center team (LSSC), especially within the Trade Compliance area in Nänikon-Greifensee, we are looking for a committed and independent Foreign Trade Specialist 100% (w/m/d).

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

* You support the import/export compliance audit program in accordance with internal global guidelines and governmental guidelines

* You assist the global broker management in view of establishing regular checks of customs transactions well as secure customs import / export filling as per defined procedures

* Furthermore you cooperate with the local units in their day to day export & import processes by supporting them in monitoring of transactions, closing of transit documents or duty monitoring

* You are responsible for the customs inquires and act as a consultant by providing advice and support resolving of incidents assuring compliance

* Last but not least you take over the administrative preparations of global customs and internal audits as of the global audit program as well as coordination of global trade compliance training program and development

Following requirements are necessary for this role:

* You have a commercial education with good experiences in Import/Export customs clearances and relevant work experiences at least 2 years in a similar role preferably within an international industrial company

* Good knowledge of harmonized Tariff Code, Rules of Origins, Customs regulations and Systems is a big plus as well as knowledge of dangerous goods regulation

* You are a curious, strongly team oriented and open minded personality, who is self-organized and can dive in a complex matrix organization by still having a customer service mindset

* Proficient in Office 365 and good experiences with SAP ECC and CRM are of advantage

* Furthermore you have strong communication skills in English and German
