Within our Markets Business Development Team in Switzerland we are looking for a Global Banking Account Experienced Associatewho is keen to join, learn and grow within an agile team serving our large global financial services clients with a focus on growing our banking and capital markets practice.

The opportunity

In this role you will be part of a team working on key account priorities, moving the account forward from a strategic perspective, developing your own client relationships and ensuring to bring the best of EY to our client. You will also be daily interacting with global leadership of the account across many worldwide locations.

Your key responsibilities

• Business development as part of the account team for larger accounts
• Working together with the global account team on the account strategic priorities to accelerate sustainable growth
• Collaborate closely with our global functional teams, develop business plans, help drive their agendas and proactively track and drive progress
• Support relationships with local procurement teams and develop and own client relationships
• Act as the day-to-day contact point for internal and external client queries
• Support specific large pursuits, proposals or submissions to clients
• Build and maintain a strong and active understanding of the client’s business, including their operations and strategy
• Build a strong understanding of EY capabilities across each service line
• Proactively take new EY and market insights to the client. As part of this, take responsibility to ensure all key campaigns and solutions are taken to accounts
• Support to the development of the wider Banking and Capital Markets practice

Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have

• Great team player skills with an innovative mind-set; motivated and self-driven to move things forward
• A strong academic background, a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Interest in Banking industry and consulting business
• Strong computer skills including basic business software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Ability to quickly and easily create, gather, and analyze data from a variety of sources
• Outgoing personality who can quickly build relationships and manage senior stakeholders
• Confident and motivating communication skills (English written and spoken)
• Dynamic and efficient working style with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Banking industry experience
• Business development experience
• Project Management experience
