Global Supply Chain Process & Performance Manager

Job Purpose:

The incumbent will be responsible to optimize the Supply Chain through systematic analysis and evaluation of operational performance in view of developing, recommending and implementing business improvements projects.

Responsibility starts with the assessment of as-is processes and procedures in relation to business model and trade compliance. As part of Global Supply Chain design panel incumbent define new supply chain processes that helps to optimize materials, financial and document flows for Consumer Health division. As global process manager for assigned area of supply chain she/he governs all aspects form process design to process documentation.

Building on E2E supply chain expertise, the incumbent is leading / collaboration on projects where all aspects of supply planning and execution are put into seamless process / system / organization ecosystem.

All of this is achieved by proactive change management and close alignment with Supply Chain & DT_IT communities.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to Supply chain process design panel and coordinate cases
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on development of new supply chain scenarios while maintaining compliance with business model requirements
  • Design and improve SC processes by ensuring trade, customs and tax compliance
  • Create /maintain process group specific global standard process maps for CH division, for appropriate hierarchy (L3 to L5), in coordination with other divisional GPMs,functional experts, SMEs etc.
  • Drive Process implementation, adherence and change management
  • Manage global divisional process change requests (e.g. via Change Demand Process) and act as a contact person for divisions, SSCDN and countries regarding all process related questions
  • Drive usage of KPIs, targets and reports for process group specific performance
  • Set up divisional community specific to the process group and run monthly community exchange meetings
  • Drive training material content and structure for respective process group
Job Requirements:
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain operations, preferably Pharma or FMCG
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain analytics and modelling
  • Knowledge in the following fields:
    • Business model, supply chain design and trade compliance
    • Supply chain network configuration approaches
    • Supply Chain segmentation strategies and techniques
    • Supply Chain performance metrics
    • SCOR model
  • Strong Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving, Conceptual System thinking and Technical skills
  • Growth mentality and proven ability to learn new concepts and transform into new processes
  • Excellent analytical capabilities to analyze business-relevant supply situations
  • Able to apply tools and processes in a global organization to support digital transformation
  • Preferred to have customs and trade compliance know how
  • Strong knowledge of SAP BW or other reporting systems, SAP modules (SD, MM, PP) and SAP APO
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Tableau, strong digital acumen
  • Team player, task oriented and keen on working in a cross- cultural working environment
  • Proficient in negotiations and project execution
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in English is a must. Any other languages are a plus
