Does this describe you and your next role?*

  • You’re motivated to put your finance/accounting skillsto work towards our mission of building a sustainable future.
  • You’re an experienced, curious and motivated professional with 5+ years experience as an accountant (including year-end global closing).
  • You have experience working in multinational companies, with solid knowledge of EU accounting principles, laws and regulations (US GAAPs & Swiss GAAPs a plus).
  • You have good command of VAT schemes in an international context
  • You have a strong experience with an ERP (Netsuite a plus).
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a focus on finance, accounting or controlling.
  • You have professional fluency in English. Other languages (German, French, Italian) would be a plus.
  • You prefer working with a high level of autonomy and self-management.
  • You have very strong Excel skills.
  • You have strong project management abilities and are capable of multitasking, including prioritization of work and management / organization of time (deadline-oriented).
  • You have strong analytical skills, are organized and precise.
  • You’re a hands-on person with a proactive attitude.

As a Group Accounting Lead, here’s a preview of what type of work your days will include:

  • Support organization financial objectives by providing reports based on robust and precise accounting.
  • Supervise and support the team for the daily transactions in branches (AP/AR, GL and bank reconciliation).
  • Take care of holding books from A to Z.
  • Plan, coordinate and manage month-end and year-end closing (including with external auditors).
  • Ensure branch accountings are accurate and timely delivered.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, aligned with the company’s targets.
  • Manage tax matters in all countries & general compliance with legal obligations.

Some logistics to consider

  • Location: France or Switzerland as a preference (other locations can be considered: US, Italy, Germany)
  • Working time: 80% to 100%
  • Optimal start date: ASAP
  • Cross-time-zone collaboration with other Quantis branches (Paris, Lausanne, Zurich, Milan, Boston) via web-conferences
