About The Team You Are Joining

Air Cargo has been resilient since the outbreak of COVID19 pandemic, it continues to provide the much-needed capacity for the transportation of emergency and commercial goods; it provides much needed” bloodline” for the airlines and other air cargo stakeholders to maintain its revenue bottom line as well as improve its cash position.

IATA’s Operational Compliance solutions and regulations are the primary source of information for air transport standards, helping to inform compliance with international legislation and standards, whilst seeking to improve operational performance and reduce risks.

The Product Management Intern (Cargo & Dangerous Goods) will report to the Assistant Director Dangerous Goods Solutions Portfolio. The successful applicant will be part of an exciting and significant product portfolio that is fundamental to the Air Cargo industry, as well as support some activities across the wider Air Cargo Portfolio.

You will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Product Management and Commercial Sales & Product Marketing, and support the Product Management team to focus on communicating the solution value proposition to its client base; a key focus will be on IATA’s digital software platform being adopted by large Enterprises; helping to drive industry and digital transformation; business intelligence; competitive analysis; support and inform customer engagement and potential portfolio enhancements.

What Your Day Would Be Like

• Conduct Dangerous Goods Portfolio analysis, competitive analysis, and present the findings in a story telling fashion.
• Customers/prospects – analyse prospects, creating a list of key accounts with products from the entire portfolio using data, to create synergies and identify opportunity across the portfolio.
• Dangerous Goods Portfolio & Digital Software portfolio product management support and administrative support.
• Support communications to promote the DGR Portfolio and Cargo OCS solutions to a wider audience.
• Perform additional duties as required.
  

We would love to hear from you if

• Recent university graduates with bachelor’s degree (within one year of graduation).
• Passionate about the aviation industry with a strong interest in digital transformation.
• Familiar with data visualization and analysis tool. Proficient in using MS excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Salesforce considered a plus. Capable of presenting data in a visual manner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-orientated.
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English, other languages a plus.
