Work location: Geneva headquarters, Switzerland

Key Responsibilities

OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT:
Manage and organize compounding operations, to deliver compliant fragrance oils samples to key stakeholders, ensuring thorough service rate and customer’ satisfaction
Report and implement project CAPEX needs
Monitor and report the lab performances as per relevant key performance indicators
Manage noncompliance issues and implement RCA / CAPA to avoid reoccurrences.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
Deploy Firmenich inclusive culture of excellence, manage team of +20 employees
Gather team ideas and coordinate their deployment, empowering people in a participative approach to foster continuous improvement
LEAN MANAGEMENT:
Manage continuous improvement projects via LEAN methodology, to deploy the strategic operational transformation goals of the department; actively take part in excellence networks

We Value

MA degree in a scientific field, e.g. chemistry or industrial chemistry with a min of LEAN Green Belt level certification
Proven leadership experience in team management, coaching and developing it to deliver high satisfaction to internal clients
Min 5 years’ experience with consistent track record in leading delivery of continuous improvement, productivity optimization and transformation projects with thorough solution-driven mindset
Confirmed relationship builder with listening skills, drive and team player spirit, capable of promptly building internal network while understanding the stakes of the department and organization.
Excellent communication skills in English and French (C1)
