Product Manager - Software Solutions . Be an innovator in the world’s foremost color management company and help leading consumer brands and their suppliers ensure their products look exactly as the designer intended. The Product Manager will lead a rapidly growing software product range within our Consumer Products and Materials (CP&M) business unit, where you will cooperate with an expert team of 8 product and portfolio managers.

Partner with X-Rite Pantone’s key customers and R&D leaders to specify and develop the next generation of software solutions connecting to X-Rites innovative color measurement hardware. Chart the future course of the CP&M software development, as we progress from desktop to cloud solutions.

This position can be HYBRID:
located in Switzerland, EMEA or remotely, with easy access to that location OR
located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, US or remotely, with easy access to that location.
Here’s what you’re responsible for in this critical, global leadership role within X-Rite.

Your responsibilities as a Product Manager at X-Rite, would include
Overseeing and manage the complete software development lifecycle.
Continuously work with customers and market research organizations to identify market trends and needs both during the discovery phase and longer-term partnerships.
Perform and maintain a complete competitor landscape analysis and support the sales team identifying strengths and weaknesses.
Develop product requirement documents including customer workflows and software wireframes.
Help define pricing models with supporting business cases.
Own the product launch process ensuring total customer satisfaction. Develop and deploy new product training for internal and external stakeholders and partners, so they can market, sell, and support the product from day one.

This is what you’ll need to be successful in this opportunity
A bachelor’s degree in software development, computer science, or product management, or a related field
Proven work experience as a product manager, software developer, or project manager is required. Typically, you should have at least 5-10 years of experience in a relevant company preferably within a color critical application.
A deep understanding of the product vision, product launch, and other concepts is required.
Integrate with developers and engineers, using technology to solve problems, have a good understanding of the Cloud and AWS technology’s workings to clearly communicate with developers.
Superior communication and negotiation skills. Able to lead, influence, and gain consensus / “followership” without formal authority.
Familiar with critical product concepts, such as the MVP (Minimum Viable Product), and able to manage and participate in the Daily Scrum and Sprint Planning.
A good understanding of cloud computing
Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally. Ability to frequently meet colleagues digitally in different time zones (West Coast of US if EU based; CET time zones in US-based).
