Description

The Oilseed Regional Portfolio Marketing Leaderis accountable for all aspects of the business in the European region for the Corteva Pioneer and Brevant oilseed portfolio including Marketing Strategy, Portfolio Product Concepts, Product Life-Cycle Management, Portfolio Optimization, Volume & Demand Planning and providing guidance for hybrid-level Pricing. He/she will be also accountable for driving Crop Production Plans and Regional Inventory management and be consulted on supply decisions regarding the portfolio.

The Oilseed Regional Portfolio Marketing Leader will also work closely with Research leadership to ensure the delivery of product and trait combinations that will meet and exceed customer expectations while simultaneously providing the appropriate regional product strategy and crop product line necessary to achieve regional annual and 5 Year business plan results.

The Oilseed Regional Portfolio Marketing Leader will support the development of 1-5 year plans for these crops in the regions. This planning will result in agreed upon annual and 5 year business plan targets and annual product line volume and profitability targets. Furthermore, will provide guidance on long term (15 year plan) business plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Active member of the Regional Marketing Leadership team
  • Responsible of the Regional Oilseed Business
  • Leads portfolio business plan monthly and annually.
  • Leads portfolio 5 year business plan
  • Leads the development and finalization of Regional Product Advancement, Product Life Cycle and Demand Planning.
  • Leads and provides regional guidance on regional product strategy, strategic pricing, hybrid level pricing, positioning for assigned products and markets with primary focus on the 1-5 year horizon
  • Jointly work with the Research and Seed Production and Supply Chain team to define strategic priorities within the 5Y timeframe
  • Responsible to address Supply and Demand balance and Inventory Management strategy
  • Work closely with Business Development /2nd brand/licensing Lead to ensure proper utilization of the breeding pipeline according to business opportunity size.
  • Work closely with Commercial Units/country teams to address local needs, maximize opportunities, and leverage good practices
  • Develop clear understanding /interpretation of product performance, marketplace trends and competitive dynamics
  • Work closely with Global Business Platform to align on asset footprint, resources on medium (5 year plan) to long term (15 year plan) planning

Qualifications

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
  • BSc and/or MSc in Agriculture or similar field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing and product management of seed categories
  • At least 5 years of experience in the oilseeds sector
  • Experience in international companies with matrix organization
  • Advanced English level with a strong verbal and communication skills.
  • Travel availability up to 50% through Europe mainly
