Your key responsibilities

Helping clients unlock value from their information assets through collaboration with domain experts across assurance, tax, transactions and advisory to embed innovative data analytics solutions in existing services lines through

• 
  Actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. With guidance from partners, you’ll identify potential business opportunities for EY
• Drawing on your knowledge and experience, you’ll create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership
• Drive operational efficiency improvements on projects and internal initiatives and will consistently drive projects to completion, and ensure the work is of high quality.
• Leading teams of varying sizes depending on engagements. The leadership team will look to you to anticipate and identify risks and to escalate issues as appropriate. As an influential member of the team you’ll create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior members of the team and help them develop
• With guidance from Partners, Directors and Senior Managers, you’ll identify potential business opportunities for EY to incubate or drive new solutions and services

Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have

• 7+ years of consulting or other relevant industry experience, with 3+ years managing data analytics teams
• Broad network of diverse clients from different sectors which can be leveraged to create business opportunities
• Excellent communication in German and English
• Clear view on upcoming technologies and ability to translate this to strategic roadmap of EY and its clients

  Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop others, managing projects, budgets, scope creep, expectations, deliverables, timelines, etc.
• Strong academic record including a degree MSc/PhD in either: Information Technology / Computer Science
• Ability to communicate technical information in non-technical language
• A passion to contribute to the growth of the team
• Analytically minded and can assimilate and apply new techniques and knowledge quickly to deliver insights and solve problems
• Simultaneously handle diverse and pressing projects in sensitive and adversarial situations
