The opportunity

Join the Business Transformation team within Financial Services Consulting Switzerland and be part of a sub-team building EY’s blockchain / distributed ledger technology and digital assets consulting offering

Your key responsibilities

• 
  Lead the development of related offerings and ongoing local initiatives
• Contribute to EY’s blockchain ecosystem strategy and actively manage relationships with relevant external players (e.g. fintechs, start-ups, EY alliances)
• Constantly track the latest developments in the field of DeFi, analyze its implications and position EY as thought leader in this domain
• Play an active part in EY’s regional and global blockchain innovation groups
• Collaborate closely with our business development teams and account leads to understand our clients’ business needs and develop related go-to-market materials
• Leverage your network and relationships to identify and develop high potential prospects in the financial services industry
• Take part in marketing roadshows to meet with prospective clients, and be involved with hosting and organizing events
• Support EY with recruiting exceptional talent in this domain and driving internal growth

Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have

• Overall blockchain knowledge bridging across both business (industry application, challenges and opportunities) and technology (blockchain engineering methodologies, distributed systems, computer science fundamentals and blockchain network architectures)
• 3-5 years of subject matter experience in the financial services industry, preferably in consulting
• Understanding of smart contracts and end-to-end Ethereum-based application development experience
• Experience in managing blockchain-related project teams
• Fluent in English, other language skills are a plus

Ideally, you’ll also have

• 
  Strong local network within financial services institutions and blockchain fintech players
• Programming skills and good knowledge of blockchain related tools
