A Day in the Life of a Senior Specialist Perception Physiology
- Elaborate research proposals and drive research activities/projects in the fields of taste physiology
- Keep up with the scientific literature to keep track of key knowledge/methodological advances and innovations in the domain of taste physiology
- Translate scientific knowledge and research outcomes into business applications
- Coach and guide junior team members and technical staff
- Evolve in a multi-disciplinary environment and collaborate with diverse project teams
- Communicate scientific outcomes to scientific and non-scientific audience
- Stakeholders’ management
- Identify external partners, establish and manage collaborations
- Ensure internal and external communication to valorize the NR science
- Provide scientific guidance to networks, programs and projects
- Be a recognized member of the scientific community in the field of expertise
- PhD in Biology or related field
- Recognized expertise in Taste Physiology
- Minimum 10 years of experience in academia or industry
- Leadership skills
- Knowledge in Sensory Science and Food oral processing is a plus
- Ability to translate science into product applications
- Excellent in written and oral communication in English, French is a plus
