A Day in the Life of a Senior Specialist Perception Physiology
  • Elaborate research proposals and drive research activities/projects in the fields of taste physiology
  • Keep up with the scientific literature to keep track of key knowledge/methodological advances and innovations in the domain of taste physiology
  • Translate scientific knowledge and research outcomes into business applications
  • Coach and guide junior team members and technical staff
  • Evolve in a multi-disciplinary environment and collaborate with diverse project teams
  • Communicate scientific outcomes to scientific and non-scientific audience
  • Stakeholders’ management
  • Identify external partners, establish and manage collaborations
  • Ensure internal and external communication to valorize the NR science
  • Provide scientific guidance to networks, programs and projects
  • Be a recognized member of the scientific community in the field of expertise
What Will Make You Successful
  • PhD in Biology or related field
  • Recognized expertise in Taste Physiology
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in academia or industry
  • Leadership skills
  • Knowledge in Sensory Science and Food oral processing is a plus
  • Ability to translate science into product applications
  • Excellent in written and oral communication in English, French is a plus
