Job Purpose and Impact

The Trade Execution Lead for WTG will lead our team that develops and plans complex import/export processes, customs documentation, shipping, contracting and receiving of foreign merchandise to ensure it arrives at correct time. We seek a professional with experience in complex trade execution practices and procedures to active lead a large multi-location team that issues import licenses and complete monetary transactions associated with the import in a timely manner.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead and contribute to the development and nurturing of relationships with customers, suppliers and other business partners( traders/merchants, accountants, legal, tax and treasury functions) as well as Cargill offices worldwide to insure the smooth execution of the supply chain plan from load port to its final destination.
  • Sign off on month-end procedures, such as accrual management, invoice management, trade execution contract consolidation, and payments for multiple locations.
  • Oversees the preparation, review, approval and maintenance of files for import/export documents.
  • Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports and their organizations, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
  • Recommends and implements process improvements across the Business group/Enterprise to reduce execution costs and/or increase supply chain efficiencies while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory experience
  • Experience in Agricultural commodity trade/execution processes
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

  • Project management experience
  • Proven ability to leverage new technology and tools
  • Experience implementing a new operating system
  • Ability to facilitate people through change management
  • Experience managing multi-cultural team and customers
  • Problem solving skills and experience
  • Proven track record to ensure compliance and uphold the integrity of records and documents
