Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
As part of Global Supply Chain Management, Global Indirect Procurement is responsible for the strategic category and supplier management of all indirect categories. Under consideration of innovation, cost, quality and availability we strive to develop procurement to a competitive advantage for METTLER TOLEDO. To complete the team, we are looking for a highly motivated and skilled professional to proceed its career as a Travel Center Manager 60% (f/m/d).

In this role, your responsibilities would include:
  • Managing the Travel Center located in Switzerland as a regional Travel Coordinator Europe
  • The booking and rebooking of business travels in the GDS Amadeus in close collaboration with our travel agency CWT
  • You support travelers with the online booking tool Concur and any travel related questions
  • You manage the selling platforms Amadeus/Concur Travel and prepare travel KPI’s and statistics
  • You work close with the Travel Category Manager (located in the US)
  • Further you will help to establish, maintain and continually improve policies and procedures and run travel related projects in the supply chain area

What You Need to Succeed
  • You have at least 3 years work experience booking business travel industry, ideally in an internationally operating company or in a travel agency.
  • You have solid knowledge using the booking system Amadeus and/or experience with Concur Travel
  • You have experience in procurement/travel sourcing and supplier management, as well as analytical skills and have the capability to manage projects independently
  • You are a proactive, self-motivated, flexible and reliable person with the passion to work directly with internal customers
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must, German is a plus
