JPMorgan Chase believes in a holistic approach to risk analysis by incorporating key risk disciplines including Credit, Market, Principal, Liquidity, Operational, Model, Legal, Fiduciary and Reputation and weighing these against returns.Responsibilities For This Role IncludeRisk Governancehelps to oversee business practices and ensures that the business is appropriately implementing risk related regulatory expectations including Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) as well as Reputational matters.
  • Provide support for the entire governance process around Outsourcing (creation, remediation and maintainance of any agreements outstanding or to be created)
  • Review, edit, and advise business on risk issues related to ESG and Reputational matters.
  • Work with senior management on firm wide issues and from time to time join working groups.
  • Understand complex products and structures available to clients which may present risk to the firm.
  • Partner with senior risk stakeholders in the region, in the oversight of fiduciary matters
  • Undertake credible challenge on business processes and change initiatives
  • Review, and draft procedures and best practices guidelines.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • College degree: CFA, FRM or a course in ESG Investing or Sustainability & Climate Risk is preferable.
  • 3+ Year of Experience in Banking and/or Asset Management, Wealth Management Environment business will be useful
  • Strong analytical skills, be able to assess and clearly articulate complex ideas and possess creativity
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and business partners
  • IT skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Effectively handle competing priorities and have the ability to work in teams
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn complex processes that affect various functions and business units within Risk Management
