Position Summary

As a Junior Category and Commercial Development Manager for Nescafé Dolce Gusto, you will define and ensure the execution of the commercial strategy through development of trade customer’s relationship at national level for both Nescafé Dolce Gusto and Starbucks. In this role you will also develop and implement the category & channel approach.

A day in the life of a Junior Category and Commercial Development Manager
  • Develop and execute strategic action plans for each Key Account for the years to come, including management of activity planning and review, development and execution of customer specific promotions
  • Establish and monitor the trade spends of allocated customers to drive profitable growth
  • Act as the reference for the field to maintain high level of satisfaction as well as review tracking and analysis of competition
  • Develop and deploy the selling story for the whole system / machine & capsules in collaboration with the commercial manager
  • Monitor and analyze customer KPIs, market data as well as obtain useful sales data like sell-out, stock situation, and competitive data
  • Manage the coordination with the NESCAFE Dolce Gusto’s & Starbucks team through planning, alignment and regular collaboration at a strategic and operational level (Marketing, Trade, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Commercial Manager)

What Will Make You Successful
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in Marketing or Sales
  • Ability to act as a team player
  • Knowledge of Swiss Electronic and/or Appliance retail would be a plus
  • Knowledge about coffee would be a plus
  • Good knowledge in (Swiss) German, French and English
