Your field of responsibility


We offer an exciting and challenging role within the Central Control Unit (Second Line of Defence) of the Compliance Operations of the SUB (Swiss Universal Bank) and IWM (International Wealth Management) divisions in Zurich.
This role involves performing high-level independent KYC evaluations for new SUB and some IWM client relationships, with a particular focus on the Corporate and Institutional Banking division with a wide range of corporate types (PWMC/EAM/C&IC). Reviewing compliance with regulatory requirements and Credit Suisse internal standards.
Responsibilities include managing end-to-end client onboarding on behalf of Compliance Operations, including Source of Wealth and Source of Funds reviews, CDB 20 requirements, background checks and working with other compliance departments such as FCC, Sanctions and Reputational Risk to assess potential compliance risks (Sustainability, Reputational Risk, Financial Crime/Money Laundering, Sanctions, PEP, etc.),
In this position, there is an opportunity to work closely across departments with various compliance and business partners to build a network in an international environment.

Your skills and experience

  • 1-5 years of experience in compliance, business risk management and/or legal or similar gained with great willingness to learn.
  • A university degree (university) in law, business administration, finance, compliance, political science, international relations or equivalent.
  • German as mother tongue and excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to conduct detailed research and communicate the results at a high level both in writing and in presentations.
  • Good MS Office skills
  • You are a committed team player but can also work independently; you are highly moti-vated and flexible and have a constructive, positive attitude
