Your field of responsibilityIn this challenging and dynamic private banking credit risk role, you will be covering International Wealth Management clients in close collaboration and interaction with cross-functional teams and internal partners, such as relationship managers, Lombard origination, sales, and trading or legal and compliance.
Your tasks will include the assessment and approval of Lombard transactions, as well as credit analysis to include the full range of risk assessment such as exposure, collateral (risk concentrations across all asset classes and derivative trades) and transactions featuring non-standard counterparty types or bespoke (cross-pledge) credit structures along with legal, cross-border and reputational risk considerations. You will independently manage and monitor a portfolio of High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) offshore clients of a dedicated private banking market area, create partnership with stakeholders and be actively involved in risk-related projects and new business initiatives.

Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, we would expect you to have
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economic Science, Business Administration or Banking and Finance; CFA, FRM or GARP qualification is a plus
- Prior working in Credit Risk Management of Lombard Lending or Corporate Banking including basic derivative knowledge
- Enthusiasm for financial markets, understanding of asset allocation and asset classes
- Distinctive analytical skills matched with confident communication skills interacting with demanding internal stakeholders
- High level of motivation and ability to work autonomously combined with a strong service delivery mentality
- Fluent in English, further language skills (e.g. Spanish and German) would be an advantage
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
