For our client in Zug we are currently looking for a Junior Data Scientist for a contract with the option for an extension.

Responsibilities:

Understand product requirements and translate them into data science outcomes that will support Product Care activities
Build and own Tableau dashboards with data narratives (KPI, trends etc)
Support the entire SD Product Care team with ad hoc data tasks/requests including data engineering tasks
Apply automation to make the most of our data platform’s computation and storage resources
Leverage big data technologies perform distributed data processing pipelines: AWS/ Snowflake

Profile:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, Mathematics or similar (STEM)
6 months of experience as a data scientist, preferred in a project environment
Hands-on coding and programming experience (e.g. Python)
Project experience with SQL development
Fluency in English (spoken and written), German is a plus
Great problem solving and communication skills
Able to prepare and create clear documentation and communicate and adapt the processes
Ability to interpret and translate/explain technical requirements into tasks
