You document, develop, test, and operate your applications. Support during the entire lifecycle of the applications is also a part of your responsibility. You are open and willing to learn new technologies and to develop yourself.

Team We are a young team that wants to grow. Currently, we consist of six people while two of them are located in Switzerland representing Product Owner and Scrum Master while also performing DevOps Engineering activities. Two other DevOps Engineers will be starting soon in our DevOps Center in Riga (Latvia). The team is complemented by two more engineers from our supplier HP. As a team, we model, develop, configure, and operate network process orchestration for active and passive network components for our internal stakeholders. In your role, you maintain our CI/CD pipeline, our Kubernetes environment and also develop business functionality in our framework HPE Service Director. As part of an interdisciplinary DevOps team, you closely collaborate with your colleagues in an agile setup. By openly sharing new ideas, you help your team members an the team for their relentless improvement and continuous development. In the context of business features you consult with customers and stakeholders on the features you build to ensure maximal business value.

The themes The center point of all our activities are our applications: ANPE (Automated Net near Processing Engine) acts as a NaaS (Network-as-a-service) by orchestrating network-near processes and encapsulates the OSS/BSS system landscape against the ODM (Operational Domain Management net-near) systems.

Your profile

  • User of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with building of CI/CD pipeline (we use Jenkins, Maven, HELM, Kiali, Jaeger)
  • Good experience in Java Programming
  • Linux skills
  • Experience with declarative modelling
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Very good English communication skills
  • Experience with agile methodologies in an international setup is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of FTTH and NaaS in general
  • Knowledge of telecommunication industry would be an advantage
