About This Opportunity
We are currently for a Junior Finance Controller, to be based in our Headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, reporting directly to the Finance Director.
The objective is to support the Finance organisation through the changes implied by the change of Business model. This will be achieved through the standardization and improvements initiatives across all the regional businesses of Operating Systems, processes and tools.
Main responsibilities
  • Systems / reporting
  • Monthly / quarterly consolidation and analysis of financials
  • Preparation of financial reports
  • Intercompany margins / profit transfer
  • LME / FX hedging follow-up
  • Commercial support
  • Development of new analytical tools for standardization purposes
Forecasting
  • Consolidation and analysis of forecasts
  • Financial analysis
  • Preparation of financial reports
  • Commercial support
Coordination of Closures’ financial commercial function
  • Coordination of the financial forecasting
  • Ad hoc coordination
Standardization of financial operating processes
  • Standardization & implementation of best practices
  • Improvement of the forecasting
Costings / Projects
  • Support in the analysis and preparation of projects
  • Costings of existing product line
  • Commercial support
Internal controls
  • SOX, Balance Sheet reviews
Your profile
Graduated from a Top Business School, with an accountancy/finance background, you will have max. 2 year experience in Finance, Controlling and/or auditing across an international environment.
We are looking for a proactive, dynamic and open personality, eager to learn, to develop ones skills and gain experience.
You demonstrate ability to care for organized structures and processes.
Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of another European language (especially Spanish, Italian, French and/or German) will be a plus.
Good knowledge of Excel, BI Power, etc.. and ability to build financial modelling a pre-requisite.
This role, within an international organisation is a development role which will allow the selected candidate to gain experience in multiple aspects of Finance and Accounting.
