Your field of responsibility

You will be working in a challenging and responsible engineering position in the bank mission-critical financial messaging area (SWIFT, SIC, euroSIC, SECOM). You’ll be joining a team responsible for engineering, supporting and delivering a state-of-the-art, 24/7 financial messaging service based on vendor software. This includes im-plementation as well as 3rd level support duties and acting as vendor liaison for addressing issues with vendor support. You will have the opportunity to further improve engineering skills in the area of non-functional system requirements high resilience, high availability, high performance and scalability.

Your skills and experience

You’ll be a good match, if
  • You have a degree in computer science or an equivalent education and interest in joining a very market oriented environment, which needs to stay connected to the latest market messaging standards
  • You have a solid foundation in one or more of the following areas IP Networking knowhow (esp. around DMZ network architectures), relational database technology (Oracle, Oracle RAC) and/or OS scripting, deployment of application components, DevOps tools and toolchains (UNIX, RedHat Linux and Windows)
  • You are willing to learn new technologies and tools in order to steer and support our environment in a professional and efficient manner
  • You are a team player and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment where project work, production maintenance and third level support activities require you to actively manage your priorities. You a creative problem solver with a distinct “can-do” attitude
  • You feel confident working in a dynamic yet process-driven environment where project work, production maintenance and third level support activities require you to actively manage your priorities
  • You are fluent in English. German is considered an asset
