About the role

Responsible for accounting and financial reporting for The Adecco Group AG and other corporate companies (e.g. cash pool, holding companies, financing entities) within the group. The team is currently responsible for 10+ legal units.

What you’ll be doing
  • Responsible for all accounting topics for the assigned entity or entities.
  • Monthly closing activities (journal entry preparation, reconciliation schedules, trial balance review).
  • Preparation of monthly group reporting package, tax package, and other group deliverables.
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with Swiss Law.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Responsible for more specialized accounting topics in the listed entity.
  • Preparation of the external group reporting (annual report, half-year report) together with the consolidation team.
  • Collaboration with other departments as needed (e.g., Tax, Treasury, Legal, IT finance, etc.).
  • Participate and drive current initiatives in the finance function and the team (new reporting requirements, ERP migration, etc.).
About you
  • Background in accounting (through prior work experience and/or relevant business degree).
  • A good understanding of the use and application of ERP systems (e.g. Peoplesoft or MS Dynamics) is a plus.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong management skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Working proficiency with MS365, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Business fluent English and German would be an advantage.
