As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will provide general legal advice and support the management of legal affairs in CPW Global, reporting directly to the CPW General Counsel. In addition, you will implement legal strategies in CPW Global in constant interaction with other functions (procurement, marketing, digital, finance) and support the Market legal teams in the implementation of the CPW strategy.

A Day in the Life of a Junior Legal Counsel
- Deliver support in defined Legal & Compliance areas (e.g. contracts, corporate law, compliance), as determined by the General Counsel, and support the development of long-term strategies to accelerate the L&C team’s ability to protect and enable the organization in those areas
- Work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders at all levels (including senior management) to provide expert and business-focused day-to-day counsel across a broad scope of issues
- Proactively train the organization on the L&C areas that the individual supports
- Identify and exploit cost-saving opportunities whilst maintaining quality and ensure that L&C solutions in their area of responsibility are standardized and systematized to the extent possible
- Professionally qualified lawyer with at least 1-3 years post qualification experience in providing legal advice on a wide variety of legal matters in an international environment
- Experience in corporate / company law, contracts and compliance
- Experience in digital contract management tools as well as excellent organizational and communication skills
- Previous Experience within a law firm is an advantage
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to simplify complicated L&C concepts
- Fluency in English, French is essential. Other EU languages would be an advantage
- A good sense of humour is always a plus!
