Your field of responsibility


Join us as a junior member of the Global Sanctions Compliance Desk of Credit Suisse. As part of our team you help to ensure that the Bank’s operations comply with sanctions requirements. On a daily basis you focus on assessing Sanctions compliance alerts of messages retained in the Sanctions filter of the bank. You assess of up to 100% of the team’s volume of potentially Sanctions related indicia in client notes screened by a dedicated tool. Your role also involves taking the lead with regard to reporting and comprises of further activities, such as regular Quality Assurance and review activities.

As a member of Global Sanctions Compliance Desk of Credit Suisse in Switzerland you become part of a team comprising of a group of specialists with regard to applicable governmental and internal Sanctions and embargo requirements. Our highly skilled and effective team plays a crucial role to ensure, that the Bank has efficient controls in place to be compliant with economic Sanctions at all time. This position offers remote working opportunities for an agreed amount of days per week.

Your skills and experience


We are currently seeking a highly loyal team member with the following qualifications.

  • Evidence of a university degree in business administration, law or equivalent
  • Experience in the financial industry, ideally in the area of Sanctions
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office products, especially of MS Excel and good analytical skills
  • A demonstrated ability in risk and process oriented thinking
  • A positive outlook to an independent and goal oriented, exact, and reliable working style
  • Evidence of an open, flexible, loyal and team oriented attitude with perseverance and ability to work under pressure
  • Evidence of excellent written and oral language skills in at least German and English
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
