Junior Security Consultant (m/w/x)

As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM’s clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client’s organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Our team of cybersecurity consultants is developing modern, future-proof IT security and compliance solutions that are meeting the increasing dynamic business and security requirements of our customers.

To further accelerate our growth in the consulting area, we are looking to hire a junior professional who will work in the Swiss IBM Security Business Unit focusing on Security Strategy, Risk and Compliance (SSRC) and SAP Security. As a member of the global IBM Security family engagements will be planned and delivered in close coordination with the European SSRC and IBM SAP Security Center of Competence.

Within the projects the junior or so called “early professional” will translate business requirements of customers into technology and service requirements. Candidates will support the conception, planning and design of Cybersecurity solutions and assist in their implementation. Work is typically conducted in a team consisting of additional roles like project managers and IT architects, on a project-oriented basis with changing locations.

Candidates applying need to be proactive, with a self-learning attitude and prior experience in IT consulting related to Security and/or Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC). Having knowledge and previous experience on the SAP domain will be a plus.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
As a junior, you have

• Experience in:
  • Security and/or Consulting
  • SAP NetWeaver Basis module and main IT/Security t-codes
• Knowledge
  • in Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC)
  • about the SAP Authorizations model
  • on the different SAP GRC solutions and its functionality
  • on the main Cybersecurity areas, functionality and risks mitigated

You are also:

• thriving on teamwork and having excellent verbal and written communication skills
• fluent in English and speak either German or French
• ready to keep learning and growing while working

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, etc.
• Having some SAP course or certification is considered as an advantage.
