As Junior Business Manager in the region Basel and Bern, you have the overall responsibility for developing long-term business relationships with our strategic customers in the field of bio-pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing. You drive sales by understanding in depth the needs and requirements of the designated customers for whom you develop and implement long lasting client focused solutions. You are also in charge of identifying and acquiring talents to strengthen Agap2’s future value proposition.

Tasks

Business Development:
  • Overall responsibility for executing the Sales strategy in the designated accounts by maximizing customer interaction and reaching commercial goals
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, and guide initiatives that the company launches to target accounts
  • Be confident to make presentations and convince customers as well as potential colleagues, about market dynamics and relevant business topics and services

Key Account Management:
  • Relationship building with key stakeholders (decision-makers from the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and medical devices industry) to ensure long term professional partnerships and create new networks.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs as well as requirements and report insights back to Novartis, but also plan and execute promotional activities and services towards customers accordingly

Global Talent Acquisition:
  • Be responsible for the delivery of Talent Acquisition services
  • Sourcing, assessment and selection of candidates for the client group supported by the role
  • Provide effective staffing solutions keeping in mind internal business context as well as external talent/ market landscape
  • Accountable for the overall recruitment process to ensure recruitment delivery of the open position for client groups
  • Define the sourcing strategy to attract right talent for the roles. Focus on direct sourcing thus resulting in effective cost per hire
  • Ensure best in class hiring manager and candidate experience throughout the hiring process

Talent Management:
  • You will be supporting cross-divisional, cross-team projects and initiatives to improve the consultant and customer experience.

Requirements
  • German native, English fluent, Swiss German strongly beneficial
  • Young graduate, holding a MSc or PhD in Management, Economics or Business Administration. Alternatively, Engineer or Pharm.D. with an appetite for Business Development.
  • Strong interest in Business Development, Management and Entrepreneurship
  • Strong interest for engineering and the pharmaceutical world
  • Leadership and prove planning and management skills.
  • Strong communication and ability to communicate complex information in simple terms
