We are searching for the role of a Key Account Manager (KAM) to complete our Immuno-Oncology sales team, a new colleague to integrate in our highly skilled and motivated team to represent our current and future Immuno-Oncology portfolio in GU and Melanoma in the central part of Switzerland. We are looking for an excellent communicator, networker and team player with an entrepreneurial mindset who fits into our well-established team.

In This Position, The KAM Will Be Expected To Set New Standards In The Swiss Oncology Market Regarding

Reporting to the National Sales Manager Immuno-Oncology, the KAM will have the core objective to develop and drive all existing and new client relations within the assigned territory in the therapeutic areas in GU and Melanoma. By educating customers on the use, characteristics, advantages, indicated treatments and all other developments related to promoted products, the individual will be expected to achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Level of entrepreneurship in the management of the assigned sales territory including account management
  • Customer centricity and level of interpersonal skills
  • Level of product knowledge and project management
  • Interactions in real- and virtual-world settings
  • Capability to support customers with scientific facts (study results, etc.) to facilitate the decision-making process in the respective indication
  • Gathering of in-depth information from customers in order to thoroughly understand their needs.
  • Analyzation and sharing of market information and findings with the broader team
  • Development of effective ways to deliver on customer feedback and to ensure business growth.
  • Responsibility to achieve sales & market share targets and for a pro-active territory development with a strong cross-functional collaboration mindset
Skills / Knowledge Required
  • Life Sciences at Academic level and/or strong intellectual skills. Ideally 3-5 years of experience in (biotechnology) pharmaceutical industry in Key Account Management
  • Agile learner with the ability to work effectively in changing environments and to prioritize effectively.
  • Effective communication skills in face-to-face and virtual settings
  • Strong cross-functional mindset
  • Strong customer centricity by creating a “One Team, One Voice” sprit and perception at account and customer level.
  • Understands how to read, analyses and draw conclusions from available statistics and market data and translates this understanding into measurable and impactful actions.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Good knowledge of the local healthcare system and legislation.
  • Comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft Office, Veeva, etc
  • Fluent in German and English language (French or Italian is added value)
