This role is based at our headquarters in Aaburg and reports directly to the Head of finance and controlling operations.

Your responsibilities:

Review direct and indirect material spend and purchasing price variances during the monthly closing
Analyze and explain purchasing price variances vs budget and standard cost
Analyze raw material development and the impact on purchasing prices
Present purchasing performance for direct/indirect material purchases
Support correct standard and product cost calculation during the budget process
Support purchasing team by pointing out deviations and suggestions for improvements
Secure continuously financial accuracy in reporting and controlling
Calculate business cases related to Make or Buy decisions
Keeping track on costs, savings and investments for projects in execution phase
Prepare financial plan on purchasing performance for the mid-term planning

Our requirements:

5 years of background in Purchasing or Operations controlling on a local and/or central level, worked in a matrix organization is an advantage
Experience with managing internal and external customers
Fluent in English
Ability to travel internationally (max. 20%)
Skill to understand the big picture and then drill into details
Ability to condense financial data into simple messages
