In this role, you will contribute by:

Key responsibilities

  • Manage, support and develop the relationship with worldwide acting strategic key accounts of Franke Coffee Systems.
  • Gradually scan, target and develop new Global Key Accounts; manage & support international tenders.
  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients and bring those relationships to full partnerships, acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives, taking the role of trusted adviser to the customer.
  • Interact and coordinate with internal staff members of other departments to provide best-in-class service to our customers.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal actively with complaints to maintain trust.
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Participate, lead or collaborate to Global Key Accounts initiatives, business development or else, whenever required, and support the VP Global Key Account in strategic initiatives.
  • Document all communication plans and processes and prepare reports to be submitted to senior management; keep all key stakeholders informed about customer calls via CRM and visit reports.

We are looking for:

Key qualifications

  • 5-10 years proven professional experience as Key Account Manager or Business Development Manager including a background as BSc/BA in business administration, sales or other relevant field.
  • Experience in B2B or B2C sales, providing solutions based on customer needs in the coffee industry, food/beverage industry or other FMCGs.
  • Strong communicator in English and German including interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels, other language an asset.
  • High degree of professionalism, strong drive commitment; flexibility to travel internationally.
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
  • Self-motivated, high degree of adaptability and solution-oriented personality who can work with ambiguity.
