Job Description & Summary

You would like to become an international, well-rounded and well-networked M&A professional in FS? There is no doubt that “Edge” – our EMEA Deals programme - will challenge you and stretch your capabilities, but it will also be a rewarding journey that will perfectly prepare you for your career in M&A. The programme offers not only rotations across our Advisory Deals team but also international networking events and supports your professional qualification (CFA or ACCA).

Your tasks

• You compile market and competition analyses, due diligence reports, rate companies and accompany transaction projects of different size and complexity in Switzerland and cross-border.
• You get to know different Financial Services subindustries (such as banking, insurance, asset management, fin tech) and products in the areas of corporate finance / M&A, transaction services, valuation or delivering deal value and deals strategy.
• You develop your technical know-how and soft skills through on-and-off-the-job trainings, take part in international networking events. Your personal development at PwC is supported by your coach throughout all your career steps.
• You are employed permanently right from the beginning, work in an international and diverse environment and continue your career after the completion of the programme in one of our Deals teams.

Your profile

• You have a master’s degree in finance, in business administration, ideally with a focus in banking or insurance or in science-based studies (mathematics, engineering, technology).
• You have experience in corporate finance / M&A, transaction services, valuation, or other deals-related services, in audit or in controlling through studies or internships.
• You have very well-developed communication skills with fluency in German and English, any additional language is an advantage.
• You are a team player with great sense of humor.
• You are willing to work in a demanding and high-pressure environment.
• You have a genuine interest in mergers and acquisitions, strategic questions, finance and the financial services area.
